HospiceCare
Hospice is a philosophy of caring, a compassionate approach to meeting the needs of terminally ill patients and their loved ones. Florida Hospital HospiceCare is committed to helping patients live life fully, maintain their dignity and keep personal control over their lives. We provide medical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and their caregivers at a time when curative treatment is no longer appropriate or possible. Our goal is to enable terminally ill persons to live their remaining lives to the fullest - to help those who cannot be cured to die healed.
Florida Hospital HospiceCare services can benefit anyone of any age who has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness or injury. Working hand in hand with the patient, family, caregivers and family physician, the HospiceCare team provides quality end-of-life care in your home (wherever that may be) or “ours”. Our inpatient facility in Flagler County, the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House on the Florida Hospital Flagler campus, is available for acute care when needed. Our Admissions team is available to answer your questions regarding hospice – no question is too small.
