Judith C. Macko Cancer Resource Library
The Judith C. Macko Cancer Resource Library is part of the Florida Hospital Flagler Cancer Institute and offers an extensive collection of books, brochures, articles and videotapes aboutcancer. An innovative interactive touch-screen computer system to access the latest web based cancer information is also available.
Cancer patients and their families, and community members, such as health professionals, students, teachers and members of service organizations are welcome to use all of the library’s free services.
In addition, the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Resource Center, is located inside the Judith C. Macko Cancer Library at Suite 2816. Registered cancer patients can receive wigs, head coverings, mastectomy bras and prostheses along with information on current American Cancer Society programs, all free of charge as detailed below.

The American Cancer Society Resource Center is a free service and information center set up to meet and plan for needs of registered cancer patients and their families at the Florida Hospital Flagler Cancer Institute. This program is not designed to replace any professionals, only to provide the same support services American Cancer Society has always provided.
This program is designed to provide trained volunteers to work with health care professionals, cancer patients and family members. The aim of such a program is to make all services for the American Cancer Society available to patients and family members. The Resource Center will serve as a resource of American Cancer Society’s public education information and materials and also have access to available supplies for cancer patients.
Trained volunteers provide registered cancer patients with FREE items based on availability such as: Wigs, Prostheses, Bras, Scarves, Turbans & Pillows. The American Cancer Society may not be able to supply every cancer patient with a specific gift item due to availability of items at time of request. All items are donated to the American Cancer Society.
