MRI Breast Imaging

MRI of the breast is a sophisticated diagnostic procedure, administered by Florida Hospital Flagler’s staff of highly trained and experienced radiologists and technologists, using state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment. The Breast MRI may provide information not seen on conventional films. The study involves no radiation and is often performed without the use of compression as in mammography of the breast. MRI is a noninvasive procedure that creates comprehensive images of the entire breast, chest wall, and surrounding tissues. The end result of the study produces remarkably clear pictures of the breast tissue.
