Local Children Draw for
Florida Hospital Flagler
In honor of National Nurses’ Week, local third, fourth and fifth graders from Old Kings Elementary and Bunnell Elementary created artwork to demonstrate Florida Hospital Flagler’s Nursing Teams. More than 50 children participated, sending in beautiful drawings of what healthcare means to them. “They are truly extraordinary,” said Nancy Bakewell, Florida Hospital Flagler’s Clinical Effectiveness Director.
The artwork is currently on display in the Visitor’s Entrance of Florida Hospital Flagler. Hospital staff will have the opportunity to view each drawing and vote on a winning drawing. A winner will be selected from each grade and prizes will be awarded to each winner. The Grand Prize winner will receive a special treat – the whole class will receive an ice cream party from Florida Hospital Flagler. All of the winning drawings will be framed and displayed in the hospital for an entire year.
