Web-Based Pharmacy Tool Helps Hospital Publish Drug Safety Information
Florida Hospital Flagler announced today that it has implemented Amplifi, a web-based pharmacy tool that manages the hospital’s formulary and medication information.
"We were excited to find an Internet-based tool that will allow us to provide up-to-the-minute information about our formulary in a convenient user-friendly format,” said Larry Kuchta, Florida Hospital Flagler Pharmacy Director. Amplifi is a flexible, robust formulary management and pharmacy communications application with integrated drug information. It provides Florida Hospital Flagler with the most versatile, user-friendly tool to manage, update, and communicate formularies in print, on the web, and on handhelds. Amplifi is provided by Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., a software service provider to more than 1,300 hospitals in the United States.
