We are pleased to announce Florida Hospital and United Healthcare have reached an agreement on major issues in their negotiations.  In order to allow time to finalize a new contract, an extension until September 14, 2010 has been agreed upon.  United members will be able to access all Florida Hospital locations and affiliated ancillary providers at the in-network benefit level. 
 
Difficult negotiations with insurance companies, like the one with United, are unfortunate at times, but are a necessary part of ensuring patients have access to the comprehensive quality services they deserve. We feel confident that final version of the contract will be reached.  We will provide more details as they are available.
