FHF Raises More Than $11,000 for ACS

Florida Hospital Flagler was a Silver Sponsor and raised $11,300 for the American Cancer Society’s May 14th Flagler County Relay for Life. The entire event raised more than $86,000 for the Flagler County community, making Florida Hospital Flagler’s contribution 13% of total funds raised by the community.

The Flagler County Relay for Life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of coworkers, neighbors, friends and families camp out and take turns walking during the event – because cancer never sleeps.

Relay for Life is a life-changing, signature event of the American Cancer Society. It is a fun-filled, overnight event that mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate survivors who have been diagnosed with cancer, remember loved ones who have lost the battle to cancer, and raise money and awareness to benefit the fight against cancer in our local community.
