Florida Hospital Flagler Cardiologist Dr. Melchor Gonzalez has earned a Fellowship in Interventional Angiography from the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).

The SCAI began in 1976 and is the primary professional association for invasive and interventional cardiologists. The organization promotes excellence in invasive and interventional cardiovascular medicine through physician education and representation, and the advancement of quality standards to enhance patient care.

Dr. Gonzalez is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology and is currently practicing at Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast. By meeting the SCAI’s stringent membership requirements, Dr. Gonzalez has earned the distinguished right to use the designation “FSCAI” (Fellow, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions) after his name.
