Celebrating 8 Years
On September 29, Florida Hospital Flagler celebrated its 8th anniversary, and on October 5, the facility celebrated this milestone with a free BBQ for employees.

The Adventist Health System acquired the Bunnell Community Hospital, and in order to meet the healthcare needs of the community, Florida Hospital Flagler was constructed. On September 29, 2002, Florida Hospital Flagler opened its new facility, equipped with care centers for heart, cancer and women's health, the latest in medical technology and specially trained physicians who are experts in a wide variety of health care needs.

Florida Hospital Flagler is member of Adventist Health System, Inc., which currently operates 37 hospitals within ten states, and is a non-profit organization with a Christian mission of hope, health and healing.

Florida Hospital Flagler has 99-licensed beds with the capacity to license 16-additional beds. The facility employs more than 850 caregivers, of which nearly 75 percent live in Flagler County. Florida Hospital Flagler continues to grow with the community and is now comprised of the hospital’s main campus, plus Town Center Surgery, a freestanding outpatient center, as well as an Urgent Care facility at Town Center.
