Florida Hospital Flagler Begins Construction

PALM COAST – As part of the parking and storm water construction currently underway at Florida Hospital Flagler, portions of the campus roads will be temporarily closed off.

Construction begins on March 2 and is expected to finish by March 29. During two separate phases, all traffic coming off State Road 100/Moody Blvd. will enter the hospital either via the hospital’s east or west entrance on Hospital Drive.

Despite the change in traffic flow, every hospital service and physician office will remain accessible. The community is asked to be careful and mindful of all barricades and detours during this process.

The construction will create more parking, some of which will be designated for employees in order for the facility to provide more spaces closer to the building for patients and visitors. A portion of the new parking lot will be complete and ready for use by June.

In addition, this construction will allow for future land development and proper storm water systems. While the complete future building plans have not yet been finalized, the goal is to increase patients’ access to the high quality health care services Florida Hospital Flagler currently offers.
